Data centres consumed 3% of global electricity in 2022, with figures reaching 3.4% in the UK. This consumption is projected to more than double, potentially accounting for 8% of global electricity by 2030. Given these trends, it is crucial for leaders active in Data Centre industries to understand how to drive for the Data Centre Net Zero transition.

This is an invite-only interactive training and workshop,  designed for leaders and sustainability professionals active in the Data Centre industry. 

The objective to deepen their understanding of different ways to drive the Net Zero transition in the data centre space. The session aims to highlight and discuss amongst peers actionable strategies.

Through hands-on discussions between peers, participants will learn and discuss how to integrate sustainability principles into decision-making, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement effective Net Zero initiatives that create long-term business value.

The session will be hosted on the 29th of January, 10:30 to 3pm at the Reading facility of Centresquaredc, and will include a visit of their innovation lab. It will be delivered and facilitated by Jean-Jacques Jouanna (MD at NovAzure) and Damian Dalton, UCD Professor and Chair of ICT4S (ICT for Sustainability) International Conference 2025, Dublin
