The cleantech trends that we presented in the session predict healthy investment growth in 2021/2022, alongside regulation pressure, countries and corporates making carbon-zero pledges and a shift of customers’ expectations towards greener solutions. We were impressed by the quality of companies that pitched at the event, as well as the high profiles of investors that joined us. We look forward to continuing to connect promising Cleantech Ventures with investors to contribute to the future of cleantech growth.”
Neil Foster, Chair of the Firm’s Technology Group, commented, “The winners’ presentations were compelling and they are well deserving of the many opportunities open to them. The 14 pitch companies were selected from the largest number of applications that we have seen, reflecting the importance of environmental technologies and innovation as we emerge from the lockdown. We are very excited to present our Fourth Annual Cleantech Pitch Event bringing together emerging cleantech companies and impactful investors and we look forward to the Fifth Annual event being face-to-face.”
