Focus Areas Experience as MD, Operations Director, EAMES Regional Manager, Technical Director and other Board experience as a Non-Executive Director for the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) for six years, as Chair of F&GP Committee, Remuneration Committee, and Vice-Chair of IEMA; and as a Non-Exec Director and Chair of Redcliffe College, University of Gloucestershire. On Board of Purple Community Fund, a US and UK Charity, and Philippine Charity Recipient. Technical expertise includes sustainability, climate change and GHG emissions management, environmental engineering and process design primarily for water and wastewater and energy, waste minimisation, ISO14001, atmospheric assessment, preparing Environmental Statements and Strategic EA Reports, and advising industry and government on environmental policy issues, including risk and resource use management and indicator specification. Industry sector experience includes pharmaceutical and chemical plants; construction; airports, ports, canals, rail and roads; waste water treatment works urban and industrial; waste minimisation, management and disposal strategies including incineration; refineries and gas plants; biomass, renewables including PV, wind, marine, geothermal, and hydroelectric and also gas, coal, and nuclear power stations; and food and drink facilities. Familiar with World Bank, ADB, EU and EBRD environmental requirements. Experience in Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Malta, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, South Africa, UK (including Jersey) and USA, and on projects in other Middle East and Pacific Rim countries. Both US and UK National.
